What has really happened to our present situation with regard to violence in Honduras? What should we do against one of the biggest problems for our people? These are the questions that society must ask to change the current violence in Honduras. People feel pain every single day from crime consequences that result a critical social trouble almost impossible to solve. Eliminating violence is a difficult issue to realize in a blink of an eye. Meanwhile, families have to look for good arrangements in order to save their children and youth from this terrible fever of violence before seeing them inside a nation terror jail as a nation. Therefore, general society gets to involve in this situation in a way to find solutions such as analyzing the factors and the elements that cause this social annoyance. May push people to evaluate the effect for the country is how everybody will be aware to reflect and respond to this problem. All these issues have to be exposed in order to arrive in the promoting of the prevention as the cure of the violence in Honduras.
Honduras is inside the international view for one specific reason, its violence. This country has been named the most dangerous place in the world. Its brutal condition of social insecurity has positioned ranges of 90.4 homicides per 100,000 people according with University National Violence Observatory. This state of violence affects the general context for everybody. It involves different levels of society that preclude a normal development for the country; as Mercedes Elena Flores and Cristina Urbina says “The main obstacle to sustainable development in Honduras is violence, which affects almost every stratum of society, in both urban and rural areas”. Unfortunately, this is the realty of Honduran people and it seems not to change insomuch as many factors are opposite to the peace that the country needs for developing optimally of their society.
Absolutely, violence in Honduras is by the moment the major concern for the majority of the population. Youth are particularly the most vulnerable in this situation, both as victims and perpetrators of violence. Some factors that become youth victims of violence include family violence, discrimination, drugs, alcohol, inadequate attention for victims of violence, unemployment, easy access to arms, exposure to crime and violent groups. However, in order to analyze the causes of the violence in Honduras, it is important to focus on the most important factor that is triggering this climate of social fear; it is the lack of education which as the principal motor to transform a nation. People in Honduras require of this important element although the system actually offers an education that does not have quality to respond to many needs that the person has to develop to be integrated in a human state of good purposes, competences and values. People without education is easy to be taken by the violence, deal to this situation Isabel Aguilar Umaña and Jeanne Rikkers (2012) support that “The right of adolescents and youth to education free of violence, and adequate to the needs of youth entering the workforce of a modern, global economy, is important to prevent violence”. These words result not realizable by themselves because education is something that seems desolated by the government. In the same way, the lack of education liberates an instable economy; in other words, people who do not have education is available for acts of crime or vandalism, they do not see good opportunities in education which allow them easily to find their needs committing inhuman acts such as thefts, assassinations, kidnappings and other barbarisms that create a disturbing social environment.
The worst part of this problem is that people are getting used to accept the violence as something part of their daily life. The same mass media shows every day many types of cruel crime without to think that everybody is exposed to their images. This insensitivity is exactly that our children perceive and cultivate nowadays in their little minds. Accordingly, the same society is putting the seed to grow violence in their people. If people never become humanized, the current state of violence will be destroying the Honduran families as our present is already doing it. Consequently, it is time to set in motion strategies to fight against the current violence. People have to see their own power in the will and the hope aimed to a same desire which is living in a country of peace and calm for the families who are the bases for constituting a society consequent to the development as an independent nation.
There is only way to eradicate the violence in Honduras, it is called prevention. Therefore, every single citizen should be part of this great approach in order to feel compromised with the country in realizing actions that solve our children and youth that are the generation of the future. Prevent violence implies the creation of opportunities for people. Accordingly, children, youth and families in general need be integrated in social programs where they can find chances arise to work, education, health, living conditions, social and human security, and occupation of free time for youth. In this way is how is concreted the idea about what is exactly prevention of violence. In order to achieve this great ideal of peace, it is very important to have the participation and compromise of all the sectors of society because fighting against the violence requires a real desire of peace and national unity. The government and families are the main elements who have a hard responsibility to transform this panorama of violence. Without their intervention as the principal motors of the county, it will be difficult to get this term of prevention They both must be aware about the necessity of incorporating social values in their people in order to establish a real feeling of humanity where everybody feel responsible for caring of their country and grow together the permanence of work, health, success and plenitude accompanied of a climate of peace.  Honduras is a great nation and only their same people can change its situation of violence to direct toward the progress that every country has to argue in order to make people feel proud of their national identity and integrity.
